Breaking the silence

I've decided to break my silence and make time to blog! It's going to be short but hey, a little is better than none, right?

RIGHT!!!

I just want to talk about a certain special someone that means the world to me. She's gorgeous, makes me laugh and smile. She might not know it but she's the only thing that's kept me from going postal over the "shit hitting the fan" situations at work recently and keeps me smiling when no other has, does or will. I want to spend the rest of my life with her when this time a year ago, the thought of anything more than a fling scared me to death. No matter what she does, she's brilliant in my eyes and I'm so so proud of her.

Sweetheart, if you read this, quite simply:
I
LOVE
YOU

And I've said it before but
You really do make sliced bread look crap!

For you, my love <3

Mobile Blogging

Ooo, my first attempt at mobile blogging and perhaps, not the best. Can't get to sleep and have quite a lot going through my mind right now. I wish I didn't over-think about myself for one. I am a simple person but one who tends to complicate himself too much. For example, rather than either accept or deny good things said to me/about me, I recognise that there are good things about me yet at the same time, don't see them myself.

WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Exactly.

Hopefully I can change this as even if it won't happen, I don't want to drive away the people I care about the most. Am confident I can change though, I have done many times before in my quest to become "normal(ish)" (comfortably though, not forced, I might add!) and I will do again.

Peace.Out.

New Post (Shock Horror!)

So, hello blogosphere, it's been a while hasn't it?

Let's start back at the beginning, Valentines day went fantastically. Managed to surprise the girlf with a trip to Birmingham (hey, it's a night away!) and tickets to see Dylan Moran,
this guy in case you were wondering:

Was even funnier than I expected and she loved it too, perfect! Sure, it would have been perfect just us two together for the day but I loved how I had to keep such a secret and then how it all went so well on the day (even if we did pay a few too many visits to Diego and Big Man - long story!).

On to more present times, earlier in the week, I thought I was going to lose my job thanks to a cull that happened where I work but it turned out (very relieved about this!), I was one of the lucky ones. Still, a few people I know went and I feel bad for all of them as I know how bad just the fear of it felt, so I just want to say to all you guys good luck in whatever you find yourself doing in future, and keep in touch.

Da moon is on fire

Well it's not actually, but I decided to share one of my geeky photos below. Couldn't be bothered to clean it up, so I just cropped it from the original and have left as is:

Proof that I do indeed have way too much time on my hands

Anyway, now that's done, gotta go on a little roadtrip tomorrow with work but ah well, at least it's a change of scenery and gets me away from the office, just further away from the missus :(

Mind has gone blank now, will update later :) .

White noise

Well first of all, quick update on the weekend. Was a great one to put it simply. Got to spend quite a bit of time with the girlfriend, went to a party on Saturday night and lazed around mostly on Sunday.

Back to this week: Has been a bit of a white one hasn't it? Unfortunately, people seem to overeact to this white stuff that seems to be falling readily from the sky at the moment. Most of these people have a car, and live a mile from where they work. Fair enough if you have to walk in this stuff (not nice at all unless you have spiked soles!) or drive some distance but come on, saying you can't come in when you are a 5 minute walk away and even less driving? - Pathetic.

There is a positive to all this though, everything looks really serene at the moment. Took some pictures of the garden and the moon which look really nice with the air so still and clear. I fancy a walk in the park this weekend but no doubt, most of it will be melted by then.

Thankfully, it's the weekend

Well, I can safely say this has been one of the most dull, boring, busy, disappointing weeks I've had in a long time. If it hasn't been work, it's been something else. But luckily it's nearly the weekend.

Now I have that vent over, I'm going to go back to reading Northern Lights. Is probably childish but I'm enjoying it, so who cares :D

Hope I get to see someone soon, feels like I hardly have this week. ah well, busy busy busy!

I also wish I did family things sometimes, I might be 23 but I feel like I've missed out on so much and even now, it feels like it's just me, Mum and Dad rather than a family. It sometimes feels like I'm part of other families but it's just strange and I always feel like I'm an outsider or intruding.

Guess I'm just one of those people who has issues (because there aren't many of those around!).

Fantastic update from weekend

Have finally got my holiday sorted. I have a week booked off to travel upto to bonnie Scotland with two good friends of mine. Never been before, no particular reason, just never have. Am staying in this lodge, which should be fantastic for all of the travelling shinanigans and relaxing that will ensue for the week:

Mmmm, I can almost smell the fresh air and feel the
midges biting!

"Looking forward to this" may be the understatement of the century but I'll unfortunately be without my lovely missus *sniff* as she doesn't want to take my money for a second year running which I can only appreciate and admire considering my past experiences. I love her and I'm sure we'll go on an even-more-awesome holiday over the next couple of years!

Work has been ok, can't believe it's mid-week already. Boy, has time been flying. Anyway, must dash, am off to play Mario Kart for a bit :D
